Partners Helping Teens
When You Were 15 is an initiative of Reclaiming Futures Anchorage, the Anchorage Youth Development Coalition and the Youth Mentoring Alliance. Its goal is to recruit caring, positive adults to help “reclaim” teens who are caught in the cycle of drugs, alcohol and crime. We also hope to educate Alaskans about the importance adults can make in the lives of every child. We hope that people of all ages and backgrounds will share their stories, so that others can see how important adult support can be during the important development years.
