The Beginning of Him
My teenage years are what some people would call embarrassing. I put myself in a lot of situations that no one should endure. I engaged in activities that no child should experience. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t a prostitute or anything, but if I stayed on the path that I was on I would’ve became one.
I have quite a few number of people that I would consider to put into the role of “Who made a difference when you were 15”, but only one being stands out and that is my true father. The heavenly father. He is the only one that best fits the role.
This is the time of my life where he started to work. He put all of these “different people” in my life that help mold and shape me into the person that I am today, so I give all thanks and praise to him.
At this time of my life I was walking down a lonely path that was set up for disaster. I participated in situations that promoted an unhealthy way of living and compared to what other people choose to go through in life, I only sampled this lifestyle. I was able to see the damage I was putting myself through on all levels, physically, emotionally and spiritually and with the help of my Father and his son I was able to let go of this lifestyle. Of course, there is still much more that needs to be worked on, but through faith, love and grace of my true Father I will become victorious. I will triumph.
It is his plan, not mine. I am here because he decided to give me life. He decided to give me the spirit that is deep within me. He decided all of this and if I want to leave this planet, which I call hell, and then I need to make the Proper choices so that I can make it back and take my place by the Fathers side.
-“For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, “ Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
I life up my eyes to the hills-
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from The Lord
The Maker of heaven and earth
He will not let your foot slip-
He who watches over you will not slumber,
Indeed, he who watches over Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep
The Lord watches over you-
The Lord is your shade at your right hand;
The sun will not harm you by day,
Nor the moon by night
The Lord will keep you from all harm-
He will watch over your life;
The Lord will watch over your coming
And going
Both now and forevermore.
Psalm 121
